1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It neither stores official records nor obtains background checks, files court papers, or requests documents for a visitor.

Its role is limited to identifying official sources, including the Waukesha County Sheriff's Records Division, Waukesha County Circuit Court, Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau, and Wisconsin Public Sex Offender Registry, plus optional third-party research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on your agreement not to:

• Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
• Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
• Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
• Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
• Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
• Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool must not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. Such conduct may also violate the law. Wisconsin Public Sex Offender Registry information is provided for public safety awareness. Wisconsin law prohibits misuse against a registrant, including vigilantism and harassment.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. Our partners' tools are also not presented for regulated screening. You must not use site or linked data to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A regulated background check must come from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Waukesha County charge, conviction, warrant, or Wisconsin expungement rule applies to a specific person. Consult a Wisconsin-licensed attorney for that advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are offered "as is." We make no promise that:

• The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
• The site will stay up and running without interruptions
• Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
• Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Criminal records change as cases are filed, resolved, amended, restricted, or expunged. Updates can lag. No content here is an official statement from a court, sheriff, or other public agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to government offices, court systems, legal-aid resources, and outside search providers. Those destinations are beyond our control. We are not responsible for their availability, content, fees, or data practices. Review their terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Waukesha County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from use of the site, its content, or any linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the site or a breach of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Wisconsin law governs these terms. Any dispute related to site use must be brought in a court located in Wisconsin. Public access to Wisconsin records is addressed by the Wisconsin Public Records Law, while criminal-history collection and dissemination are governed in part by Wis. Stat. §165.83 and §165.84.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A revision takes effect when the updated text is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected text will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.
